Zagreb Business Summit

Zagreb Business Summit was held for the second time in Zagreb, and it started on 16 September 2015. During the Summit, special attention was given to cities and regions as the generators of development.

Prof.dr Ivo Josipović, former President of Croatia, member of the Board of Patrons of the Institute of the Regions of Europe (IRE) and Prof.dr Jugoslav Jovičić, Vice Rector for International Relations and Development at University in Travnik(BiH) and member of the Advisory Board of the Institute of the Regions of Europe (IRE) actively participated at the Summit.

Branko Roglić, Founder and President of „ORBICO“ Company which has business operations with 17 countires in Europe, Prof.drNikicaGabrić, President of the International Economic Forum „PERSPEKTIVE“ Dubrovnik and Vinko Ćuro, President of the Steering Committee of the International Economic Forum „PERSPEKTIVE“ also participated at the Summit.

Engagement of the IRE’s representatives at this event confirms the mission of the IRE to actively participate at important events in the Western Balkans where distinguished counterparts discuss theory and practice of cooperation and regional development. Stressing the importance of regions and municipalities, addressing different problems and discussing economic potentials of regional cooperation in Europe are always in the focus of theInstitute of the Regions of Europe.

The Institute of the Regions of Europe is active in all countries in the Western Balkans. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute Prof. drFranz Schausberger is the honorary member of the Committee for Development and Promotion of Entrepreneurship in the Western Balkans “Creators for Centuries”.
